I purchased this item as it looked seemed very good value especially for such a high capacity and well known brand. On receiving it I found that none of our three digital cameras would recognise it but our computer would. I found by researching this problem on the internet that this item is only compatible with SD HC equipment. I do not feel that this point was made sufficiently clear when buying it, but as it is not faulty I feel unable to return it. So at the moment I am left with a product which is neither use nor ornament to me.

Took 8 days to arrive, not great for something so small that fits normal letter post, also no warning that SDHC don’t always work in SD only readers?

The item will not connect to a pc. i have tried it on vista and xp and the pc reports that the card is write protected although I have switched the item to “unlock”. It works in my camera.

I have a Canon Powershot SX20 IS. I bought 2 of these cards in hope that HD films could be recorded. Unfortunately, all movies bar one have been recorded as “unidentified image” upon playback (which basically is Canon’s way of saying “buy a better SDHC”) same goes to pictures, only about 50% have been saved. It’s very frustrating and I will not buy from Kingston again.

this memory card is unrecognizeble by my laptop, i have to plug the camera via USB everytime i want to transfer photos. disappointed!
