Great little camera for photos but not very good for doing movies -problem with sound -there is none don’t know why?

I took the camera away recently on a holiday and was not dissapointed by the quality.

A couple of warnings about this camera:

the pictures taken with this camera are *not* automatically rotated to match the orientation the camera had when the picture was taken. E.g. if you orientate the camera to take a portrait, take the picture, then the resulting JPEG file is still in landscape. The camera does have facilities to rotate images but they are not of the “hey, that picture I just took was a portrait, adjust it!” style, and, in my opinion, that rotation is most easily done on your PC.

Also note that this camera takes normal AA batteries, be they non-recyclable or recyclable. (Actually, for me this was a big advantage: I don’t need to worry about bring a charger on holiday.)
